Privacy policy

ShelfHound processes store configuration and public storefront observations to provide cross-market monitoring. It does not request or process protected customer data.

Data we process

Shop domain, owner operational contact, active Markets, product and variant identifiers, inventory signals, subscription state, scan observations, findings, and service logs.

Why we process it

To authenticate the app, run requested monitoring, show evidence, deliver operational alerts, bill through Shopify, prevent abuse, and support the service.

Retention and deletion

Uninstall stops future monitoring immediately. Store configuration, observations, and alert records are deleted within 30 days unless a shorter Shopify-mandated window applies. Minimal billing and security records may be retained where legally required.
